Terry,
Since you're so super psyched for the game, I'm gonna put up some screen shots!
Well... I was going to, but I can't figure out how to do that. Sorry.

Well now that the game is almost out, I encourage people to discuss the deep philsophical impact of the game. Or what you liked, and disliked about it. Or really anything about the game at all. This includes all of you people out there that have played previous versions of the game, feel free to talk about how much the game has changed, and what is different.

Just played the game man, and it's awesome! Love the animation sequences and the music. But now that you set the bar so high, how do you plan on topping it with a sequel?

Thank you, thank you adoring public. And thank you to all of you out there who helped make this happen.
As to plans for the future... well the future is cloudy. Originally, I had planned to team up with kevin to possibly make a UBH adventure game (The Unborn Baby Heroes. It's an old comic from the Snackpants.com glory days). I'm not so sure I could pull off a UBH game that would do it justice.
I had also been kicking around doing a German Connection adventure game, which would be easier, because I would just take pictures and use them as the graphics, but it still could suck, hardcore.
So please, give me more feedback as to your favorite parts of the game, and what you disliked about it. And when the time is ripe, I'll either announce my next game, or I will put up a poll asking which game I should make next.
In the meantime, I have a challenge for The Comedy Page loyalists: Let's get to 10,000 posts as a community!

Cool game. Inspiring soundtrack.
I have a question for you, crusader. Did you ever play King's Quest 6 by any chance? I'm thinking specifically about a certain obstacle on the Isle of the Beast...

Ha ha ha, yes! Very reminiscent of the boiling puddle of water and the iceburg lettuce. I have to admit, it was less of a tribute, and more of me trying to think up some stupid puzzle I could do to make the game more than two screens long. I'm not sure if I've told you or not, but if you like Kings Quest, the team at AGD Interactive has made some absolutely amazing remakes of KQ1 and KQ2. The KQ2 game is particularly briliant. If you like Kings Quest, you should download KQ2 ASAP. Their website is www.agdinteractive.com. It's well worth your time. And what's more impressive is they used the exact same software to make that game as I did to make Gratitude. Word.

Loved the game, Greg. Played it 10 times in an hour!
I'm thinking of making a game bout drinkin and shootin deer. Would anyone play it if I made it? It'd be a lot of work for me. I don't know anything about programming, and I'm assumming it takes 2-3 hours to learn, which is a big time investment. just wanna know if itd be worth it

I've played those two King's Quest remakes, actually. The second one is pretty badass. The whole vampires vs. werewolves storyline was not really something I was expecting.
On a related note, they've been working on Hero's Quest or whatever for close to 3 years now. Way to strike when the iron is hot, guys.

I just played your game and really liked it. Did you make everything yourself?

Yes imnutz69, I did. For the most part. It took me a long time, but I did most of the stuff myself. I duly acknowledge everyone who contributed to the project in the credits. The screen after the Abstract Monster was made by my friend Kevin, and the Music was done by Hank Daugherty. Other than that, it was all me.
The most impressive part of the game is the coding, and of course, you don't see that when playing it. And the coding isn't really all that impressive, it's just impressive to me. It could definetly use some work, but I would rather just do another project instead of fixing up this one.
Oh, and just so you don't get confused, I did not completely make it all from scratch, I did use a game-building engine to make the game. I didn't make the engine out of like basic, or C++ or anything. Just the Adventure Gaming System. AGS. Fun stuff. In encourage you to try your hand at making a game. If you're good, you have a game of your own, that you might be able to post on The Comedy Page! And if you suck at it, it just makes my game all that more impressive.
And in closing, yes, I came up with the briliant, avant garde concept for the main character's design all on my own.

Any chance of you making an adventure game starring Rock U. Hard?
